Facilitator: Isabel Flores

About Isabel:
My name is Isabel Flores, LMT, CD (DONA), Lactation Specialist. I am the mother of a 3 year old, a 20 year old and 2 angel babies. The gap in between my pregnancies made me realize the need for continuum of care during the prenatal and postpartum periods. I also learned we cannot raise our babies alone and we need to build community. Because of this I decided to become a birth worker.
After the heartache after my losses, I was able to overcome with prayer, love from my family and bodywork. I am here as a group facilitator to give back to my community for all the support I have received from good people throughout my life. To be kind to myself, I like to do nature walks and Zumba.
Favorite Quote About Motherhood:
“Turn to the flowers and let them remind you
No matter the shadows
That try to consume you,
You will still grow how
You were meant to.”
